DESCRIPTION:This will be the first meeting of its kind dedicated to bringing together battery researchers from across the island of Ireland\, providing a forum to share research\, exchange ideas\, build new collaborations and strengthen the growing Irish battery research community. \nThe event will welcome two distinguished invited speakers:\n𝑲𝒆𝒚𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒆 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒌: Advanced/Advances in Electrolytes for M/M-ion batteries\n𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. Patrik Johansson\n• Full Professor in Chemistry and Director of BATTERY 2030+ \, Department of Chemistry\, Uppsala University\, Sweden \n𝑷𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒌: Searching for the Pot of Gold at the End of the Post Lithium-Ion Rainbow\n𝐃𝐫. John Muldoon Ph.D. FRSC\nSenior Principal Scientist\, Toyota North America \nPlus many speakers from the Irish battery academic community and Industry \nAdditionally\, the conference will feature a poster competition for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers\, open to all battery research groups across Ireland. This will provide an excellent opportunity for early-career researchers to showcase their work\, discuss their research with the wider Irish battery community\, and engage directly with representatives from industry. \nThe Irish Battery Research Conference (IBRC) will be held in UL on Wednesday 9th of September.
