Cluster 5 – Climate, Energy & Mobility Info Days

The European Commission’s info days for Horizon Europe Cluster 5 will be held as a hybrid (virtual/limited physical) event over two days. The info days will cover topics proposed for 2023 under the Work Programme 2023-2024 of Horizon Europe Cluster 5.

European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving (EUCAD2023)

EUCAD2023, organised by European Commission, the European Partnership on Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and the FAME project will bring together political leaders from the European Commission and Member States with high-level representatives of industry, academia, and road authorities from across Europe and internationally, to discuss whether our societies are prepared for the deployment of smart, inclusive, and sustainable mobility solutions over two days 3-4 May 2023.

Climate Adaptation Conference, ECCA 2023

The 6th edition of Europe’s climate adaptation conference, ECCA 2023, takes place from 19 to 21 June 2023, and will be held in Dublin, Ireland. The Joint Programme Initiative "Connecting Climate Knowledge for Europe" (JPI Climate), together with the MAGICA project, supported by the European Commission, is organising this edition of ECCA. It will be an in-person event over two days for up to 500 people with live streaming of all plenary sessions and interactive hybrid formats.

Horizon Europe info day – Cluster 5, Climate Energy and Mobility

Focusing on the twin green and digital transitions to achieve climate neutrality in Europe by 2050. The European Commission’s Info Day will present the research and innovation topics proposed for 2024 under the Work Programme 2023-2024 of Horizon Europe Cluster 5, addressing Climate, Energy and Mobility. The event will give the opportunity to prospective applicants to learn more about the funding options of the programme for 2024 (with a budget of slightly more than €1 billion available) which focuses on twin green and digital transitions to achieve climate neutrality in Europe by 2050.

Battery Innovation Days (3rd edition), Bordeaux

SESAR Innovation Days 27-30th Nov. Seville, Spain

The SESAR Innovation Days 2023 will take place in Seville, Spain from 27 till 30 November. The SESAR Innovation Days (SIDs) are the main vehicle for SESAR Joint Undertaking to share progress and disseminate exploratory research results. Unlike other scientific events in air traffic management (ATM) research, the SIDs focuses mainly on exploratory research, while also showcasing results industrial research and demonstrations. Organised annually since 2011, the SIDS have become a landmark event in the European aviation research calendar.

High Level workshop on Synergies between Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking and national/regional relevant R&I initiatives in aviation

This high-level workshop will present the benefits of establishing synergies between EU and regional & national programmes (including for example from the Cohesion Policy Funds/ERDF) and will outline future developments and opportunities. It will showcase key achievements and futureplans in the aviation sector from the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking, a European public-private partnership between the European Commission through Horizon Europe and the European aeronautics industry. It implements the European Union’s leading research and innovation programme for transforming aviation towards a sustainable and climate-neutral future.
