DESCRIPTION:The 11th instalment of the biennial Photonics Ireland conference brings together PhD students\, early career and established researchers as well as industry representatives working in photonics and semiconductor research. \nThis conference presents the state-of-the-art research and challenges in these fields\, and provides a platform for scientific exchange and networking on a national\, European and international level. \nThe 2025 edition of Photonics Ireland is taking place in Cork\, Ireland from 3rd to 5th September 2025 and is hosted by IPIC\, the Taighde Éireann – Research Ireland\, formerly Science Foundation Ireland Centre for photonics. \nWe invite you to the 11th instalment of the biennial Photonics Ireland conference. This  event will bring together PhD students\, early career and established researchers as well as industry representatives working in photonics and semiconductor research. This conference presents the state-of-the-art research and challenges in these fields and provides a platform for scientific exchange and networking on a national\, European and international level. \nThe programme comprises of invited talks from academics as well as industry representatives\, poster sessions\, short talks by participants and networking sessions.

SUMMARY:European Optical Society Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The 13th European Optical Society Annual Meeting is a major international scientific conference and exhibition covering all aspects of optics and photonics\, organized in close collaboration with The Delft University of Technology\, TU Delft. EOSAM covers all aspects of optics and photonics across topical meetings and sessions. Attended annually by around 500 top researchers\, key leaders\, students\, and industry experts from over 30 different countries all over the world\, it offers a platform for presenting the most recent research results\, connecting and catching up\, as well as bridging the gap between research\, education\, and industry. \nEOSOM is organised by the European Optical Society in close collaboration with The Delft University of Technology\, TU Delft.
