KDT JU is making preparations in the context of the Work Programme for Call 2024, which will feature specific focus topics aligned with national and European policy priorities, with a particular emphasis on digital leadership.

In line with our commitment to collaboration and community engagement, we are hosting a virtual open workshop on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023. We invite all members of the Electronic Components and Systems community to participate and provide valuable feedback on our vision for a focus topic on AI-assisted Methods and Tools for ECS Engineering Efficiency.

This focus topic builds upon the success of our previous KDT JU initiatives in the field of Edge AI and explores potential connections to the upcoming (Chips) Design Platform. To kickstart the discussion, we will share a specific draft text for Call 2024, which has been prepared by a core team of experts assembled by our three industry associations partnering in the KDT JU. Attendees will have the opportunity to review and contribute to this draft text during the workshop.

The workshop will be divided into two parts:

  • The first part will feature presentations and discussions about relevant initiatives and projects in the domain of Methods and Tools for ECS Engineering. This segment aims to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of current advancements and inspire conversations.
  • In the second part, we will engage the audience in an open debate focused on the actual draft text for this specific focus topic. This interactive session is designed to encourage active participation and gather diverse perspectives from the ECS community.

We look forward to your active involvement in shaping the future of ECS engineering efficiency. Register now to secure your spot at this online workshop and contribute to the advancement of AI-assisted methods and tools in the field.
