Horizon Europe allows beneficiaries to use personnel unit costs to provide a simpler and less error-prone way to declare costs for their staff in projects. One single daily rate for personnel is agreed upfront with the beneficiary. It applies to all their staff working in a project. This means there are no more errors in the daily rates, and beneficiaries will know from the start how much they will get paid per day worked. Reporting will become easier because it is limited to the number of days worked. Possible audits will be simpler, too.
