United Europe: Widening R&I cooperation in times of war

On September 7 a debate on the the impact of the Ukrainian war on research collaboration, the geopolitics of global science, and ways forward to bridge Europe’s east-west innovation gap will take place, why not join this debate?
They plan to bring together leading figures from the international R&I community to address some of the following:
• With no end to the Ukraine conflict in sight, how should R&I institutions plan for the future?
• Are there some clear, basic principles for scientific sanctions that the research world can adopt – in this, and all future cases of geopolitical tension?
• How will the Ukrainian crisis affect the EU’s capacity building agenda for central and eastern Europe, and its ambition of bridging historic innovation gap between east and west?
