Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030 – an Atlantic-Arctic lighthouse

An event “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030”, and in particular Atlantic-Arctic lighthouse, will take place on 24 and 25 November in the National Maritime College of Ireland in Cork. Focus will be on political commitments to implement the Mission and to agree concrete measures and actions in the Atlantic-Arctic basins to protect and restore marine and freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity, and boost coastal resilience.

The Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters” Annual Forum takes place 5 March 2024. The purpose is to take stock of the Mission’s progress and major achievements, at mobilising relevant actors around key Mission deliverables and also preparing the ground for the next phase of the Mission, moving from demonstration to deployment.
