A general Call for expression of interest for experts is open on the Funding and Tenders portal. Moreover, details on the role of experts, the fees paid for the services, the model contract, other useful information, including the webpage to register as expert could be found on this link.
For the Digital Europe and Horizon Work Programmes by the end of 2024, no less than 300 M Euro will be allocated to cybersecurity related calls. Identifying the best proposals to be funded is a great responsibility and it cannot be done without the involvement of European experts knowledgeable in different cybersecurity related fields.
While we already have a reasonable number of experts supporting CNECT/ECCC in this endeavor, given the numerous upcoming calls for proposals, we are looking for new ones to join the pool. A communication campaign targeting experts is already running on social-media channels – please see the post. And we are promoting this opportunity in all events we are attending.
We invite you also to share this invitation to become an ECCC expert with your cybersecurity related ecosystem, while also suggesting those interested in joining this venture to send a confirmation email at CNECT-ECCC-EVALUATIONS@ec.europa.eu. This will allow us to easier identify the expert in the database thus increase the chances for collaboration.
