An Italian University (University of Trieste) will apply for MSCA- Doctoral networks (in the framework of Horizon Europe) with deadline 16/11/2021 and they are looking for SMEs or spin-offs to be involved in the project consortium.

The research topic focuses on a group of proteins involved in tumours, but also other human pathologies and the aim is to find molecules that can inhibit their activity.

In order to improve the quality and impact of the project, they are thinking about the opportunity to include companies, SMEs, spin-offs with expertise in the following research fields:

  1. chemical synthesis of libraries of DNA minor groove binders;
  2. high-throughput assays for the discovery of DNA minor groove binders;
  3. high-throughput assays for the discovery of protein-protein interaction inhibitors;
  4. high-throughput assays for the discovery of inhibitors of the functional activity of a protein (transcription factor).
