National Contact Point (NCP) for Horizon Europe Cluster 4 - Space

Barry is the National Contact Point for Horizon Europe's Cluster 4 - Space programme and is also a member of the Irish Delegation to the European Space Agency (ESA).
Before joining Enterprise Ireland, he worked for 15 years in the semiconductor industry, in various roles from research (Philips Natlab) to technical sales (Cambridge Instruments / Leica) and engineering (Intel). Barry has worked across various departments and roles in Enterprise Ireland, including third-level research commercialisation (ICT), commercial evaluation, equity maintenance and as a food sector development advisor.
As well as a primary degree in physics, Barry holds an MBA and a diploma in Corporate Law & Governance.
