David is a Senior Executive in the R&I Internationalisation team at Enterprise Ireland. David is the EUREKA National Project Coordinator, COST National Coordinator & European Innovation Ecosystem (EIE) National Contact Point. With 20 years of experience working at the interface between academia and industry, David has a strong connection with Ireland’s innovation ecosystem. His expertise spans international R&I collaboration, programme development, and technology commercialisation. He previously managed a specialist technology programme in power electronics across six of Ireland’s Higher Education Institutes, developing and managing new funding mechanisms for third level research themes and projects. He has also worked as a Senior Commercialisation Specialist with a focus on entrepreneurship and business formation and spent two years as Manager of the Enterprise Ireland office in Mumbai, supporting Irish companies accessing and scaling within the Indian market.
