David is a Senior Executive in the R&I Internationalisation team at Enterprise Ireland and is the National Project Coordinator of the EUREKA programme and COST National Coordinator, National Contact Point (NCP) for Horizon Europe EIC (European Innovation Council) Accelerator, Transition and Pathfinder and NCP for Horizon Europe EIE (European Innovation Ecosystem). With 20 years of experience working at the interface between academia and industry, David has a strong connection with Ireland’s innovation ecosystem. He previously managed a specialist technology programme in power electronics across six of Ireland’s Higher Education Institutes and developed and managed new funding mechanisms for third level research themes and projects. He has also worked as a Senior Commercialisation Specialist with a focus on entrepreneurship and business formation.
