Dr Bob Flynn

Bob is the National Contact Point (NCP) for Horizon Europe Cluster 5 - Mobility. He holds an honours primary degree in engineering and a PhD from the University of Limerick where he focused on property prediction in aluminium aerospace alloys. He has previously worked in industry in an engineering role and as a research officer at the Materials Ireland Research Centre at UL, leading projects on materials-related activities. He currently works for Enterprise Ireland as the National Delegate and NCP for the Horizon Europe programme for Cluster 5 covering mobility, as well as National Representative for the Clean Aviation, European Rail and Digital European Sky Joint Undertakings programmes.
