Caroline has a background in agri-environmental sciences with a PhD in Applied Sciences and has conducted post-doctoral research as a fellow embedded in a public service body. Much of Caroline’s work has focused on the uptake and implementation of knowledge from areas of applied research to assess water quality. Caroline joined the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Research Programme in 2022 and is now Senior Manager for Research Strategy, acting as EPA representative on various EU research initiatives and partnerships.
