Dr Irene Castellano Pellicena

Irene is a Project Officer in the Health Research Board (HRB) and one of the National Contact Points for Cluster 1 - Health in Horizon Europe in Ireland. She also serves as a Board Member in the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA). Irene has been involved in research funding management since 2020. During this time, she worked on enterprise facing programmes as well as in challenge funding for international development in Science Foundation Ireland. Previously, she was a biomedical researcher for more than eight years, where she worked in different countries and settings including industry and academia.
