She additionally sits on the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), the European Molecular Biology Conference (EMBC) Councils and ELIXIR board. With more than 15 years of experience managing EU projects and working within EU frameworks, Maria also sits on a number or working groups and committees dedicated to framing the shape of a future Europe.
