National Delegate for EU Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing. Patricia works as a Programme Manager for EU Programmes and Policy at the Health Research Board (HRB), Ireland’s government organisation responsible for advancing research, data and evidence for health. She has over 20 years’ experience in policy, research and health roles working across organisations in Ireland and the UK. Within the HRB she is responsible for work on EU Framework Programmes, EU policy and legislation, EU Open Science and for research policy coordination. Current positions include • Co-Chair National Open Research Forum Ireland • Lead HRB Open Research publishing platform • Member of Science Europe Green and Digital Transitions Working Group • Member of the EU Expert Group on National Point of Reference for Scientific Information • Chair High Level Advisory Committee of the FAIRsFAIR EU project • Academic qualifications include • DPhil in Sport and Exercise Science, University of Birmingham (1997) working on behaviour change • MSc Computer Science and Applications (1992) • BSc Psychology (1991) Queen’s University Belfast.
