Sergio is a graduate from universities and institutes in Spain and Ireland in Physics, Material Science and Management. His PhD focused on the area of electric and magnetic properties of oxide materials at the nano-scale for electronic applications. He has worked as a Researcher, Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Innovation Executive, European Programmes National Contact Point and Delegate for Industry, Universities and Ministries/Public Agencies in Spain and Ireland. Working in Enterprise Ireland, Sergio is the National Delegate and Contact Point in Ireland for the Horizon Europe programme for Cluster 4 Digital, Industry and Space, specifically with the remit of 'Industry'.
