Kevin was previously manager of one of Enterprise Ireland’s key industry-academic research collaboration initiatives, the Technology Centre Programme where he managed a network of nine Technology Centres which drove Innovation in company-led areas of challenge or opportunity in domains as diverse as food, pharmaceuticals, Artificial Intelligence, sustainability and advanced manufacturing.Kevin was also responsible for Policy for the Research & Innovation (R&I) Division of Enterprise Ireland. This involved the development of policy in relation to the three key pillars of EI’s mission namely; the commercialisation of all state-funded research in Ireland, supports for research collaboration between industry and academia and the sourcing of international collaborations via Horizon Europe and the European Space Agency.
