Cluster 5 Climate, Energy and Mobility

PEGASUS, a new Horizon Europe project coordinated by Trinity College Dublin, has been awarded €4.83 million to help shape a sustainable, inclusive and trusted future for urban air mobility across Europe. Bringing together 18 organisations, the project will assess how drones and low-emission aircraft can support logistics, deliveries and essential services while reducing congestion and emissions. Through real-world demonstrations in Ireland, Portugal, Italy and Bulgaria, PEGASUS will develop a pioneering Societal Readiness Score to measure public acceptance, safety, noise, privacy, inclusivity and environmental impact, helping guide future policy and deployment decisions.
